Profile Targeting

It follows from objective market research that more than 72% of the job searches start at the traditional and well-known search engines (42 %) like Google, Yahoo, Bing and many others.

 

A job aggregator, also known as job spider or job crawler, is a search engine specifically for jobs. It was specially developed so that candidates can find all online job offers faster and more easily. Indeed and Careerjet are the largest and most frequently used job aggregators in Belgium. Due to their power and user friendliness they are also both referred to as the ‘Google of the job sites’. Job aggregators are not only used by candidates, they are also used by large jobsites like Monster.be and Vacature.be because they obtain a very high score in Google and are therefore easy to find.

 

Up to 30% of the visitors of jobsites are generated by the job aggregators.

 

In case of profile targeting we advertise online on the basis of specific profile features. We show your vacancy very specifically to a specific group of potential candidates who comply with the searched profile. Profile targeting or behavioural targeting is also related to a method where visitor’s behaviour on websites is established. The objective hereof is to determine the interests of the visitors so that you can anticipate this. Behavioural targeting is basically used to increase the click-through rates and the conversion rates.
